Camp at “Casa Pedregal” Deserta Grande Island Madeira, 1996.

A team of 6 New Zealanders spent 3 months on the island eradicating rabbits, goats and mice.

The island's vegetation is now regenerating rapidly, and sea birds have recolonised.

Track cutting on the southern slopes of Pitcairn Island 1998.

Well over 800 tracks were cut by hand, at a 25m spacing, for bait laying to eradicate rats from the island, which is home to Herald’s and Murphy’s petrels, as well as an endemic warbler.
